Dinosaur of the Month-Einiosaurus


The Einiosaurus means "Buffalo lizard" and was discovered in 1995 by Scott Samspon. The Einiosaurus dinosaur was discovered in Montana, USA.  Some interesting features of the this species of dinosaur is its morphological features such as their long , forward-curving   snout horn, two large bony-horns on its neck frill and bony ridges over its eyes. Einiosaurs were herbivores and were similar to T.Rex in herding styles. So far to date in the fossil record researchers have only found 3 skulls of this species. Some general facts about this species are :
 Length - roughly 20 feet (6 m) long
Height - about 6.6 ft (2 m) tall at the hips
Weight - about 2 tons
